Thanks to everyone for the information. I did not realize that the admin.jar
was trying to shut down orion through the RMI port. I was trying to shut it
down throught the port I manually specified in my default-web-site.xml file.
I took of the port number in the admin command call and it worked
I did not have the admin user deactivated (althought that was a good tip-
thanks!)
When I use the command:
java -jar admin.jar ormi://localhost:8080/ admin pswd -shutdown
I get:
Exception in thread main java.util.zip.ZipException: The system cannot
find the file specified
at
connections committed and 0 rolled back...
Orion/1.5.2 initialized
I immediately opened a new DOS window and did this:
C:\WINDOWS\Profiles\James\Desktopcd c:\orion
C:\orionjava -jar admin.jar ormi://localhost:8080 admin pswd -shutdown
Error: javax.naming.NamingException: Lookup error

2) The ejb-ref should NOT be commented out.
3) The lookup string should be "java:comp/env/Stamp", not "Stamp"
4) The context should be set calling just new

is index.html if it exists, but i want it to be index.jsp. Is this client side?
