I have tried my 128mb simm that works in my Color Classic Mystic. In my 840av, it shows up as 32mb only. In my Workgroup Server 80 (same as Quadra 800), the 128mb is detected as a 64mb simm. So, I'm about 99% sure the Quadra800/aws80 maxes out at 264mb ram. Using the 128mb and three 32mb simms

Hi - my experience is that you can change units while they are running. But, it's always been necessary to have the switch set to the machine which is booting up, so that it'll detect the monitor. After any and all of them are up and running, you ought to be able to change units at will. - Dick

Yes, the first version of Palm Desktop and Hotsync Manager worked on 68k Macs. But that version of Palm Desktop AFAIK wasn't based on Claris Organizer. It loks like an ugly port of the early windows program. What I'm looking for is other (better) PIMs that can hotsync with the palm. From:
