yep. If the source device(DAT, minidisc, whatever) has a line-out
jack, use that instead. You won't have to worry about levels as much.

I think there were some network versions of At Ease that locked the disk out

575 from an OS 8.0 CD, try booting your 660AV normally from its own
hard drive, and
it does not boot off the cd still it ejects it. it is a caddy drive. it just doesn't
seem to be working right.

Q840AV. It was fairly quick, but low resolution

It's a weird blender of *nix and Mac. The only problem with it is that
it doesn't like most cdrom drives... I think Apple 300's and 600's are
the only ones that work.

It all depends.
Like the others, I say ditch the 5200. They were a HORRIBLE model.
I am personally biased in favor of the 630, because my first personal mac
was also a Q630. (The only major diff. between an LC630 and a Q630 was the
full '040, IIRC).
But the 660AV is also a very nice machine. It

If you want to be creative, you can slide the LC630 motherboard into the
5260 and have a nice all-in-one computer. The 5260 and LC 630 use ATA hard
drives, the 660 uses SCSI. They all use the same basic 72-pin RAM type. Yes,
you can also swap CD-ROM drives, etc.

I don't want to keep them all, but would like one. which is the best,in

I am having a battery Problem. I asked a friend to help and he drilled out the battery
socket.
I need to locate the Plus end of the Battery Circuit.
