Then we are going to replace Control Points with Handles.
Changes are made in terms_rework_2 branch.

Hi!
I have discovered a significant bug today.
Since the Children Panel renamed to Library I can't link exported
values to params anymore.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open file which have some exported value

3. Right-click some parameter of the same type in

Hi!
I continued testing the latest branch and now I have another proposal
for change.
Please look at the attached screenshot.
The strings like "Create Advanced Outline Spline" sound a bit clumsy.
So my proposal is to remove word "Spline" at the end:
* "Create Outline Spline" -> "Create Outline"

Hi Yu,
Yes, that would be the best solution.

That's right to don't touch synfig core code for the UI changes. To solve

It is impossible to rename it in the UI without change in core, see below:

I don't find "Shape Tool" to be confusing at all. The verb "shape" is
mostly used with abstract concepts ("to shape a statement"), and
sometimes for 3D objects ("to shape a piece of clay"). In the context
of 2D animation, I wouldn't think of it as a verb. Plus, the icon on
the toolbox helps iden

The Shape tool is not bad, but I still prefer Line tool to it. Some time
user don't want to create a shape but a path, for example, a path of
animation action.
With Line tool, user can create a line, then it can be defined as a path of
action, an outline, a shape, or what ever he want.

I like the "Library" suggestion! "File->Place" doesn't looks god for me.
For "Bline" I still like the "Curve", but after all arguments the
Spline is OK for me. Also I like Nikita's "Shape" alternative. In
fact, the more I think about it, the more I like "Shape" - "Shape

Cool, more answers! :)
I agree control point is a bit long, handle is better.
Children Panel: Library is ok for me too.
Import: I like it like it is. "Place" sounds strange, import is more
meaningful to me.
I agree with yu's suggestions regarding icons.

First sorry for miss the interesting conversation hold yesterday but I was

I like the suggestions here. From the current list, I agree with:

Encapsulate -> Group

"Control points" seems too long for such a common term: especially in
phrases like "tangent control point". Shortening it to "controls" or
just "points" may not work ("control
