Just in case I missed something, I'm wondering if there is a way to
edit a received message Subject. I use SpamPal and it marks suspects
with **SPAM** in the subject line. Sometimes the Bayesian filter is
incorrect (we are both still learning) but when I move a clean email
to an inbox it is
. Erroneously classified mail (if you
have any) will still have the altered kludge, but it won't be in the
Subject field which would look rather annoying.
If you place your SpamPal filter after your mailing list filters, and
your Known filter (people in your address books), I think you'll find
little if any
Is there anyway of filtering particular attachments i.e. .pif using
The Bat!?
I am sure there is probably something but I have looked through the
help file but couldn't see anything.

The trick is to make filters sharable as well. There is the issue of
priority, and I would argue that for technical reasons, the shared (or
common) filters could be executed first.

I've got a 'read messages' filter that, for messages in a particular
colour group, moves a message to a different folder. It works a treat,
except, if I mark as read an entire thread. The whole thread was in
the colour group but stayed put when marked using ctrl-shift-m. I had
to mark them all

e-mails could be filtered out as spam just
I wish there was an easy way to copy filters between accounts or make a master
set of filters that work on all accounts... I get the same spam coming to
multiple email address and have to delete them over and over in 1 session...
