Thanks for your input everybody. This has now been solved. I had the JRE installed, but apparently Base needs Writer to edit forms. I only had Base and Impress installed. Installing the full suite fixed the problem. Mark -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Free Edition.
