Identifying labels is fine. Scanning barcodes for items for example from
a grocery store is awful. I have to recommend a hardware scanner if you
want it for regular use identifying food items.

That is a tricky one, there are OCR apps like Prizmo, Text Detective or
SayText, but whether they could read your labels depends entirely on the
printing and even more so on how good you are focusing and holding the
iPhone perfectly still as well as whether you have very good lighting

5167 laser labels. I don't think any of the barcodes were printed on the
sheet, as I have taken a label from each column to test. I have also sent
Nancy Miracle an email, but I know she has a lot on her plate
Several members of this group have asked us to add the small Avery address
labels that are 80 per sheet (4 across and 20 down).
We've made a couple of changes to the way we generate the code and we are
now able to produce a nice, readable code on the small labels.
So if you are one
the
washable code 128 labels from Envision America and, when our software finds
these, we just report what the number is and don't allow recording. To
record using Digit-Eyes, you need to either print your own Digit-eyes
labels (which is free) or buy the washable ones from us.
At least at present
