Yes, the warning message has stopped, thank you.
I will watch to see if the wrong recordings happen again and take notice of
what channel, et. Right now I've been getting a few channels that freeze
momentarily, then start and stop a few times, pixilated, et. Don't know what
is causing that.
San

Switched Digital Video, it's a way for 1000 channels of info to share fewer
channels of available bandwidth by only broadcasting the channels that are
actually in use by an end user. Tivo does this by a Tuning Adapter, which
allows for two way communication between your cable reciever (Tivo) and the
hub switch that sends out the channels as requested. Normally this is done
with a cable box, but newer Tivo's use cable cards instead.

The lack of up to date program data may be to blame for the incorrect
recordings, programs have changed, but not your recordings because of the
network issue you had.

Have you stopped getting the warnings ?
Glen

Could these things be the reason why the wrong program tapes on a

channel also? This has been happening a lot

I think this
