Hi everyone!

I was not to add anything to this ongoing discussion, but I guess here I
should.

When I saw the site couple days ago, I went there, and was very pleased
to see women-fitted t-shirts. And I was actually to order one. But I saw
the back of the shirt.

It's not political correctness. I went to look at the men shirt. I would
have found odd that the well-known Ubuntu slogan had disappeared for
"linux for gentlemen" and "linux for ladies", and was about to complain
about _that_: where is the "linux for human beings" gone? But it was
gone only from one gender side...

> I would think that would mean that this t-shirt would be for ladies.
Yes, and the others are for human beings. Why? Or ladies are not human
beings? It's awkward.

So which one? Why single out ladies?

Yes, I could do something like that too, because it would describe _me_
and myself only, and not just put me in a generic gender bag relative to
a human as a whole bag.

So you see, if that shirt had the usual Ubuntu slogan on it, we would
never have been talking about it this way. This one creates division,
arguments, and therefore is not appropriate.

I emailed the Canonical Store on their website for feedback.

Peace,
Isabelle.
