I searched for Sound Studio, and only found it on OS 9. I have Panther as well. Are you sure it came with OS X? Was it on a previous version, but perhaps not included with Panther?
Yeah it does, I have it here and I have panther...Hmm, I had Jaguar before so maybe it comes with that.
