  Yes, that happens often.

One can do the blood letting at home. Only a needle, tube and a
jar is needed.

I have done it a few times, until I realized it all seemed like a wasted cause.

Bloodletting is ancient, it even killed our first president, George
Washington.

It took 3 genius doctors to do it, . if I recall correctly.

I am sure no one understood what was happening, several hundred years
ago, any better than it is understood now.

Some thing is missing, something no one is telling us, not sure what.

So it is a good idea IMHO, to institute measures that slow down iron
loading between donations.

Iron overload is about as confusing as blood letting. There are
thousands of terms

associated with Iron Overload. Few are clear and adequately defined.

Some of the terms make little sense to me. Hereditary Iron for one.

Since the early history of medicine, and the early doctors, it has
always been a case of

The Blind Leading the Blind, much the same way today.

One of the best examples is, What happened when the first doctor said,

We have to wash our hands between patients.

Almost forgot, another proven method of blood letting it to,

The problem is accurate measurement. Yes, I have done it that way
too. ( blood in the street )

I personally AM donating, and plan to continue. But I also take
other measures. Including stopping oral vit C.

It is a good think you do not make it, like the lowly house fly,

If you could make it, in the same proportion relative to body weight,

No need to say much about Vitamin C.

CSRemoving biofilm

2008-12-20 Thread Nenah Sylver
I was looking up biofilm and saw the following site:

http://www.lenntech.com/biofilm_removal.htm

They discuss removing biofilm from water systems using chlorine dioxide
(MMS) or ozone. I thought that was interesting, as it could also apply to
the mouth.

Nenah-

Keep in mind that I can't prove a word of this... Long story short: I
started MMS in September '07 for a mild right upper toothache. In very short
order, MMS was burning out a biofilm that stretched from the the top my my
right sinuses and all through my right sinuses, down my right Eustachian
tube and into the top right quadrant of my heart. I had no idea that it was
there. Alas, my infection eventually became resistant to MMS and began to
come back despite my increasing doses of MMS. Eventually I could not handle
the nausea and I do think that overuse of MMS will deplete vitamin c and
other nutrients and cause oxidative damage. I ended up with severe angina
from it. I have since successfully used other protocols, most notably
including lemon juice, iodine and DMSO to kill off this infection and to
reclaim my circulatory system.

My MMS experience is similar to my silver experience and to my experences
with various electro-devices: initial success then failure. I'm not knocking
any of them, they all bought me time while I continued living and learning.
What I have discovered for myself is that all that is said by the followers
of Bechamp appears to be true for me, that I could not get well until I
treated the terrain correctly. For me that meant ions, vitamin C, iodine,
magnesium, salt, various trace elements and minerals and of course good
food. Also had to quit coffee. There's more but Christmas is closing in
fast.

Hello:

Yes, MMS did help my friend eliminate Morgellons disease. She took one drop
the first night and was having blowouts in the bathroom within 40 minutes.
The creepy crawly feeling left overnight. The most dramatic developments
were within the first few days. In two days her arthritic pain was gone.
Her energy level was up within a week. Within two weeks the lesions had
totally healed and with a month or two she was totally free of it, as well
as a cancerous vaginal tumor the size of a walnut. (her cancer was the
second time round and the doctors told her there was nothing they could do.)
She discovered the alfalfa as well somewhere through that process but the
healing was initiated by the MMS. MMS just doesn't like parasites period.
There is a video available at www.miraclemineral.org that is worth getting.

CS Vit. D and Colon cancer

2008-12-20 Thread Harold MacDonald

It is important that ONLY Vitamin D3 is used as D2 is not pure natural D.
I have found many supplement compounds use D2, so read the labels.
Harold.
Vitamin D can affect a colon cancer cell by adjusting everything from its
gene expression to its cytoskeleton. Recent research shows that one pathway
governs the vitamin's diverse effects, a result which helps to clarify the
actions of a molecule that is undergoing clinical trials as a cancer
therapy.
Vitamin D stymies colon cancer cells in two ways -- it switches on certain
genes, and it induces effects on the cytoskeleton. The net result is to curb
cell division and cause colon cancer cells to differentiate into epithelial
cells that settle down instead of spreading.

The recent study is the first to show that vitamin D's genomic and
nongenomic effects use one simultaneous pathway and integrate to regulate
cell physiology.

RE: CSMeasuring CS with a spectrophotometer or colorimeter

2008-12-20 Thread Jim Meissner yahoo
Dear Steve:

I am wondering what the purpose of your questions are?

If you are looking for a way to measure the colloidal silver you are making,
then I have a suggestion. Very likely you would be making ionic silver with
a very small percentage of particles. In that case the $60 Hanna PWT, pure
water tester, works extremely well for testing ionic silver. In the case of
my nano silver generator the calibration of the PWT in uS is exactly the
same as PPM, 15 uS is 15 PPM. I think it is a fortuitous accident that the
readings agree.

So far as I know there is no easy way to test particles. Very few people
are able to make particles so there is no need to test that for the average
home made colloidal silver.

Frank Key tested my silver with his fancy $300,000 machine. You had asked
about calibration. I watched the testing and asked a few questions. It
seems that you feed (1) pure distilled water, then (2) a certified
calibration solution and then (3) the silver solution to be tested. The
system automatically does this sequence three times and averages the
results. It looked like a plasma source burned the solution and then the
spectrometer measured the peak amplitude vs. frequency.

See the test reports done by Frank Key on my generator
 http://meissnerresearch.com/products/silver-generator .

 Re.: picking the right frequency,

I'm glad you brought that up. If one was to consider calibrating a
spectrophotometer to use for measuring ppm as well as particle size
distribution, there is the problem that light absorption by a sample
of CS at a specific wavelength could vary from lot to lot based on the

particle size distribution of the sample. Should one make the ppm
measurement at the point of maximum absorption, at some intermediate
average point or would one need to make measurements over the
 distribution and average the results.
I assume that the colorimeter avoids this problem because by digesting

the silver, you convert all the silver to the same particle size. Do

you know what wavelength your colorimeter uses when making the
 measurement for silver?
 Thanks,
  Steve N

If you run it on plain old EIS, then you can get a curve which will give
you some idea of the particle sizes. For ppm measurement, you first
digest the silver. Thus you have no particles at all, it is 100% silver
salts. I use nitric acid, and thus it is silver nitrate. Then chemicals
are added that give it a very strong color, if I remember right it turns
violet. The wavelength that is then used is for the violet color that
the chemical changes the silver to. I doubt you could come up with a
good way to get ppm from a curve of the undigested and treated EIS,
absorption changes so much depending on size and shape of the particles.
To see some typical curves of different ppm and particle size of EIS see
the following:

http://silver-lightning.com/hach/oral.GIF
http://silver-lightning.com/hach/oral2.GIF
http://silver-lightning.com/hach/oral3.GIF
http://silver-lightning.com/hach/topical.GIF

These are in ever increasing particle size. The leftmost peak is the
absorption of the silver ion, that is ionic silver. All other peaks
correspond to particles, with larger being more to the right generally.

HIf you look at http://silver-lightning.com/hach/agno3.GIF that is the
absorption of silver nitrate. The reason that this one appears so much
wider than the others is that I expanded the X axis to show more detail
since there was no absorption at the longer wavelengths (that is all the
absorption was in the uv range.

You can see the changes in the color of CS as particle size increases
here: http://silver-lightning.com/cs-color.jpg and the actual absorption
curves vs particl size here http://silver-lightning.com/cs-curves.jpg

So it is a good idea IMHO, to institute measures that slow down
iron loading between donations.
I personally AM donating, and plan to continue. But I also take
other measures. Including stopping oral vit C.

Re: CSMeasuring CS with a spectrophotometer or colorimeter

2008-12-20 Thread Norton, Steve
I tried posting this once but if it posted it did not echo back to me.

Jim,
Actually I got interested in this after two posters here expressed an interest
in lab testing of their CS. At least one using HVAC. Curious of what lab
testing costs, I looked around for labs. Frank Keys appears the best, Sovereign
Silver's lab appears questionable and costs may be lower at a university lab
but I wondered if they would do a good test. So I started looking to see if one
could do it cheaply at home including particle size distribution. It appears
that you can with only an old spectrophotometer.
Having learned more about measuring CS from Marshall and others, I think one
could measure ppm accurately with a homemade colorimeter using an LED and a
photodetector and making your own cibration solutions.
I do make EIS but I also make silver citrate (SC) at a relatively high ppm. The
SC uses a fairly high current due to the low resistance of the citric acid
solution and there is no ionic silver since any silver ions bond to citrate.
Currently I uss the Herx Farady Calculator for estimating the ppm of the SC.
Much of what I am doing is more educational than necessary although I thought
that if I found inexpensive ways to measure ppm accurately and possibly
particle size distribution some few others might be interested in the results.
Nothing I am doing is new but it is low cost that I am looking for. Certainly I
won't duplicate Frank Keys capability but it should be quite sufficient in my
opinion.
Thanks,
Steve N

Posted by Jim Meissner:

CSUpdate: success interrupted

2008-12-20 Thread Indi
I seem to have had a serious setback in treating my MRSA.
Until last Wednesday, it seemed I was sure to beat it using the Brooks
Bradley protocol of 75% CS, 10% DMSO, and 15% glycerine, topically and
as a nasal spray. But on Wednesday aternoon, I noticed a small, itchy patch
of red skin on my left forearm. By bedtime, I was covered head to toe in
hives, and I still am. Also I am feverish, weak, dizzy, and short of breath.
This pretty much feels just as I felt before I discovered the CS.

Perhaps the DMSO carried something else into my bloodstream?
I applied it at night, put on cotton flannel pajamas, and went to sleep
every night (showering it off in the morning) for over a week before this
happened.

Could the MRSA have become immune somehow to the treatment?
According to what I've read it can't do that, but it seems as if it has come
back stronger.

Has anyone had any similar experience, of getting well for awhile followed
by such a sudden relapse?

Thanks,
indi

That would be a typical allergic hives attack for me.
Try dropping the glycerin out of your mix and see if that helps.

You could be having an allergic reaction to the glycerin?
I ahve a hard time thinking the hives are a direct response to the CS
and DMSO, as I use those to STOP hives and eczema attacks.
And yes, if you had chemicals on your skin, from any source, soaps,
detergents, lotions, the DMSO could have carried those into the skin.
