Good luck with that. I suspect most of the electronics, steel, etc. needed in
a World War situation are imported from countries who would be our enemies. Not
good.

As to the export of crude, my thought is
Or when they want to use the strategic oil reserve to lower gas prices.

What I like is when they keep buying
Personal property rights are a hallmark of our country. To make it "our" oil
would mean nationalization of the oil industry. Countries that do that are
usually called Communist.

Well, there's a good reason why the federal government keeps a strategic
petroleum reserve but doesn't have a strategic Mercedes reserve. Oil is needed
to power the war machine.

How often do you replace glow plugs? They aren't terribly expensive and they're
WAY easier to do on the older cars.
I like the older car to work on, less hoses and such cluttering up the place.
If you're cruising around town I really like the York AC compressor too, it'll
freeze you right out. M
The thing is its not "ours" it belongs to whoever owns the oil rights to the
property until its pulled up out of the ground, then it belongs to the oil
company. They should be able to do whatever they want with it. You don't want
anybody telling you who you can and cannot sell parts to right?

I first did that 30 years ago. They cost more than 0 250 201 039
GPs, often by a factor of 2. They don't last as long as the 0250 210
039 GPs or equivalent Beru.
Dollars equal, I'll hold out for an 81, 82, 83 If you give me a 80
or earlier, I'll take it.
Its not hard to put pencil plugs
I don't think we should be exporting oil, it is a limited resource that will
one day run out and we need to keep it for ourselves.

Its not hard to force a stealer to put on new tars. I did when I was 19.
No MB has has a real star since 1995 or so. That is 20 years ago. I
doubt anyone in the stealership has been there 20 years. They
Nansky Peloski, that noted marxist, just made a sensible statement.
She said it makes more sense to export finished products than to
export crude oil.
The sky must be falling when that bimbo says something intelligent.
