[SOGo] Account mixup in SOGo Calendar when accessing via Apple Calendar

2024-04-15 Thread Andreas Kesenheimer
Hi Folks,

I meanwhile investigated further and found out that the Organizer name and
e-mail-address is taken from the first alias I am member of (in alphabetic
order). Since an alias may contain several e-mail-addesses the person of the
organiser varies - see „ORGANZIZER“ entry below; by accident it can be me as
well. A resulting insert statement into the sogo_store table looks like the
following:

I already cleared and rebuilt the cache of the Mac-Calendar, temporarily
deleted the respective alias - in this case another alias is taken, where I am
member of.

Any hint will be gently appreciated.

[SOGo] Account mixup in SOGo Calendar when accessing via Apple Calendar

2024-04-08 Thread Andreas Kesenheimer
Dears,

We recently migrated from Kerio Connect to dockerized MailCow (release 2024-04)
/ SOGo (version 5.10.0) are very happy with it in general, but, face one
serious issue when creating invitations from our Apple Calendar. The client
integration is configured by installing the respective profile (IMAP, SMTP,
Cal/CardDAV with App-Password).

Everything works fine (mail and address book in total, accessing / updating the
calendar, calendar subscriptions / delegation etc.) except when I create an
invitation with other persons: The organizator is chosen randomly and the
availability does not correspond to the invited either. The invitation is not
sent to the invited as well. When I then open the Calendar entry in SOGo web
interface for editing and save it without any change, the invitation is sent
out and at least the correct organizator (me) shows up, the availability
neither mine nor of the invited still does not match.

Any hint to tackle down the issue will be gently appreciated.

Best, Andreas

[SOGo] MailFieldNames instead of SOGoMailIdentities

2020-12-22 Thread andreas lorenz
Dear all,
I am using a iRedMail 1.3.2 installation of SOGo 5.0.1.

The backend is PostgreSQL based.

Currently the useres can log in and receive Mail just fine.

I would like to enable the users to post from different Mail-Addresses.
(i.e. User A can sent mail from a...@local.home and also from
a...@mailproviderx.com)
I would like to have the "From" menu display the 2 Mails and the user can
select the one she
needs.
It looks like I need to enable MailFieldNames as per the exenstion
https://sogo.nu/bugs/view.php?id=768 ?

Currently iRedMail defaults to a user scheme like this:

A@home.local | {
"SOGoMailReceiptNonRecipientAction": "ignore",
...
"SOGoTimeFormat": "%H:%M",
"Forward": {"forwardAddress": []},
"SOGoAppointmentSendEMailNotifications": 1,
"SOGoMailAddOutgoingAddresses": 0,
*"SOGoMailIdentities": [{"email": "A@home.local", "isDefault": 1,
"fullName": "A"}], *
.
"Vacation": {"daysBetweenResponse": 7, "autoReplyEmailAddresses":
["A@home.local"], "endDate": 0, "startDate": 0},
}

Where I assume that "SOGoMailIdentities" is not to be used? How can I
extend the set-up to include an additional alias?

Thanks for any help,
Andreas

[SOGo] Any experiences with TbSync w/ CalDAV & CardDAV Provider?

2020-12-05 Thread Andreas Haumer
Hi!

As most Linux distros began to roll out Thunderbird 78 recently
and given the fact that sogo-connector for this version was
(and perhaps is) a little bit problematic to use (to say it
politely) I started to experiment with the TbSync and CalDAV &
CardDAV Provider Thunderbird add-ons.

See https://github.com/jobisoft/TbSync and
https://github.com/jobisoft/DAV-4-TbSync/

So far the results are encouraging: the add-ons seem to work fine with SOGo
for both calendar and contacts. Given the SOGo DAV base-URL, the add-ons find
the user's calendar and address-book subscriptions automatically.
Synchronisation seems to work fine in both directions.

With TbSync users have to configure the SOGo account themselves.
Users have to provide the correct SOGo CalDAV and CardDAV URLs as well
as username and password in the TbSync admin GUI. After that, TbSync
automatically detects all calendars and address books the user has
subscribed to in SOGo. It even detects the colors assigned to each calendar.

For a smaller organization with only a few users this is IMHO way easier
for the admin as it is with the sogo-connector concept, where the admin
has to provide a customized sogo-connector XPI file (we had that dicussion
on this list a few weeks ago...)

I did limited testing with a few calendars and address-books, though
and can't say anything about large-scale installations.

Therefore I'd like to ask if anyone can share good or bad experiences with
these Thunderbird add-ons:
Did you try these add-ons as alternative to sogo-connector?
For how many users / calendars / address books?
Are you happy with it?
Did you find any problems?

Thanks!

- andreas

I tried and it fucked up my system.

All calendars were duplicated with this setting and thunderbird froze.
I had to kill it, remove sogo-connector in filesystem, and remove all
*calend* in prefs.js in %appdata%

I need to look at this again, and I might be mistaken but:

I set up the extension for TB 78 recently, and as far as I can tell,
that setting *must* have a trailing '/' character or else the URL
constructed for contacts will be wrong.

I need to find some time to do more testing and if I confirm that,
I'll send a PR with a fix.

Hi all,

I experience strange behaviour after upgrading to 4.1.1. when creating
filters that move mails around the folder structure is not used anymore,
instead new folders are created, e.g. instead of folder
/archive/test/several mails are now moved to /archivetestseveral.

Any idea what might cause this?

Dear all,

Anyone experienced the below too?

I tried around, upgraded to a nightly from Nov 13 (or before) which made
this problem go away, only after modifying one of the filter rules and save
them back. Now, after upgrading to 4.2.0, the same problem reappeared, on
two separate servers. I cannot imagine no one else experience this?

Many thanks in advance

Just found in the log

couldn't setup SSL connection on socket
(error:0001:lib(0):func(0):reason(1))...

so removing /?tls=YES from
SOGoIMAPServer = "imap.amimanera.de:143/?tls=YES";

seems to have solved the problem.

I have a running SOGo-Server 4.0.7. I configured mail for IMAP and SMTP but

What I don't understand is how sogo authenticates to the imap- and smtp-server

How is this working and what am I missing?

Hello,

In version 2, it was possible to right-click a folder and define it as the
"Sent Folder".
I can't see this option anymore in SOGOv3 or 4, but I may have missed it.

There is an IMAP configuration option, but not a per-user option.
We're using several mail servers (each one with different Cyrus/Dovecot
configurations) but our SOGo is setup as a single domain server (mailhost
selection is based on an LDAP attribute): thus we can't just use the IMAP
configuration parameter.

Is there a way to set this per-user Sent folder in the Web interface ?

Thanks in advance,

Do I have to tell users that they can only Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge

Re: [SOGo] Issue with shared calender data retrieval of with tbsync or iOS devices

Hi all,

I have one additional comment on the issue. Even though the automatic
retrieval of calendar and contact resources does not work via the
well-known URLs, manual CALDAV configuration in Lightning via the

calendar links, provided by the web frontend, is working.
In the meantime I have completed a new SOGo server setup. Unfortunately

As stated in the documentation for SOGoVacationHeaderTemplateFile there are
only the following two variables usable in templates.
%{username}
%{daysBetweenResponse}

Re: [SOGo] Importing 3rd party CardDAV address book to SOGo Web GUI

2018-11-14 Thread Andreas Mair
Hello Christian,

it's a pity that SOGo doesn't have a scriptable import feature for address
books and calendar. If a company wants to migrate from an existing
groupware to SOGo, what's best practice to get all user's data to SOGo?
Tell every user to export his/her data from the old groupware and import it
to SOGo? Very user unfriendly. A simple "sogo-tool import" that can handle
VCARD and VCALENDAR files and informs about import errors is absolutely
necessary.

Best regards,
Andreas

Re: [SOGo] SOGoVacationEnabled doesn't work

Hi,

I use SOGo 4.0.1 and it's possible to enable vacation and email forwarding.
I once noticed a bad SOGo behaviour if vacation start and/or stop times are
in the past. in that case you cannot save any changed setting. Disabling
vacation start/stop times fixed it for me.
Do you have vacation start/stop times in the past?

[SOGo] SOGo v4 Themes: not all colors applied

2018-06-14 Thread Andreas Mair
Hi,

I tried to change the SOGo colors but they are not applied like expected.
In sogo.conf I added the line "SOGoUIAdditionalJSFiles = (js/theme.js);". I
modified the original theme.js like this:

> 43 $mdThemingProvider.theme('default')
> 44 .primaryPalette('deep-orange', {
> 45 'default': '400', // top toolbar
> 46 'hue-1': '400',

> 48 'hue-3': 'A700'
> 49 })
> 50 .accentPalette('orange', {
> 51 'default': '600', // fab buttons
> 52 'hue-1': '50', // center list toolbar
> 53 'hue-2': '300',
> 54 'hue-3': 'A700'

What works: orange in login screen, some orange text in calendar and
address book, orange background of selected mail and contact
NOT working: toolbar and sidebar still using default color, "+" buttons to
create mail, contact or calendar entry.

Any ideas what's wrong here?

[SOGo] "Flag the message with" missing default labels

2018-05-08 Thread Andreas Mair
Hi,

I'm using SOGo v4.0.0 and try to create a mail filter that flags some
emails.

I'm using the "Flag the message with" action but the "Flag" drop-down
doesn't include the default labels $label1 - $label5. They exist and are
shown at the "Labels" tab. If I add my own label I can select it when
defining the filter.

Did I miss any configuration option or is this a bug?

Hello Christian,

we do not use a master user, there should be individual logins for each
user trying to access the sieve server. I think that it might be
connected with a certificate change I recently had to do when the server

I do not think it is a certificate problem, because you get:

That means your certificate is used correctly.

I have tried to access the sieve server with the following command:

gnutls-cli --starttls -p4190 mail.example.com

and had no problem to connect/login to the server.

Does someone have an idea what could be the issue and how to resolve it ?

Thank you for your kind support.

RE: [SOGo] ActiveSync Provisioning

2017-04-10 Thread "Andreas Blaha"
I join in on this question: for me the biggest advantage would be the device
handling. Currently the admin has to guess the device id and then delete it for
every single mailbox that is configured e.g. on an iPhone. So it would be
helpful to have a list of devices in webmail where the users themselves can
delete the relations per device. Something for Christmas maybe? ;-)

Hello all,

I have a question. In your Active Sync implementation have you already
implemented the provisioning protocol? More information about it here:

https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd299443

This would allow to do a remote wipe or enable/disable the usage of SMS etc.

We run several SOGo installations with DB-Server (PostgreSQL),
Mail-Server (Cyrus IMAP) and SOGo-Server separated on different machines.
On the SOGo server we always have apache installed (as proxy to SOGo on
port 2/tcp)

On some installations we additionally have a public webserver
(apache) in front (as reverse-proxy, in a DMZ).

On our installations we have CentOS and OpenSUSE running.

Works and scales quite well!

Especially with SOGo you have any freedom to choose your setup
in a way it optimally fits your requirements.

Seems that the connection to your MySQL Database does not work (not a
SOGo issue). Pls check if your database Server is up and MySQL is

[SOGo] WebMail / Creating New Massage shortcut

2017-02-12 Thread Andreas
Hi,

our users frequently use WebMail. Some times ago there has been added a
new feature: When clicking on the "create new email" button two options
are shown: create new email/create new email in a new window. I
understand that some users need this feature, but it makes it necessary
to click twice to start writing a new mail. Is there any possibility to
disable it or to set a default option?

Thanks,

Andreas

[SOGo] appointments from iPhone with emoticons

2017-02-10 Thread "Andreas Blaha"
Hi all,

strange request from a user:

when an appointment created on the iphone/ipad contains an emoticon
(wherever: title, notes, location etc.) the appointment is visible and
manageable on the iphone/ipad, but not in the web gui. It can be seen but
does not give any details, cannot be edited or deleted from there, I cannot
view the source text of the appointment, but I get the according reminders.
The appointment is not visible at all in Outlook 201x/ActiveSync. This
behaviour I can reproduce, both in 2.3.19 and 3.2.6a.

I only found an open bug referring to UTF8, not sure if this has anything to
do with it.

I have no Android device at hand to check whether it is the same there or
not.

Has anyone experienced this as well?

Best regards

Andy

Hi all,

hopefully someone has a hint for me fort wo issues I am experiencing:

I am running SOGo 3.2.4, latest nightly. When updateing via yum I am told
all packages have been updated:

sogo.x86_64 0:3.2.4.20170102-1.el7.centos

sogo-activesync.x86_64 0:3.2.4.20170102-1.el7.centos

sogo-tool.x86_64 0:3.2.4.20170102-1.el7.centos

sope49-appserver.x86_64 0:4.9-20161231_1664.el7.1

sope49-cards.x86_64 0:3.2.4.20170102-1.el7.centos

sope49-core.x86_64 0:4.9-20161231_1664.el7.1

sope49-gdl1.x86_64 0:4.9-20161231_1664.el7.1

sope49-gdl1-contentstore.x86_64 0:3.2.4.20170102-1.el7.centos

sope49-gdl1-mysql.x86_64 0:4.9-20161231_1664.el7.1

sope49-ldap.x86_64 0:4.9-20161231_1664.el7.1

sope49-sbjson.x86_64 0:2.3.1-20161231_1664.el7.1

sope49-xml.x86_64 0:4.9-20161231_1664.el7.1

But obviously not all to their latest, because some carry an older date
and/or different version numbers. Still not being firm with CentOS 7 (or any
other linux distribution for that matter) I have no idea how to fix this.
Which needs to be done because it obviously leeds to problems in the Web
GUI.

The second issue the abovementioned problems are possibly linked to is with
my version of GNUstep. I am using the one from EPEL (though I was sure I had
followed the instructions for using the one provided by Inverse when setting
up the system, this is for sure again down to my lack of knowledge). Now,
how can I get to the GNUstep version provided by Inverse without making a
mess with my setup?

Any advice is highly appreciated!

Happy New Year

AW: [SOGo] Syncing of drafts folders on iOS

I believe this is just not supported right now and might be a good reason

Also, I could not find anything about the Archive folder that is created

behind this?

Good Morning

I am using SOGo generally very successfully within an iRedmail server in our
company.

The only thing that does not work for us is the syncing of the drafts
folders from iOS devices when we are using Exchange accounts.

I looked at this already together with Zhang from iRedmail but we did not
find any hints in the sogo.log file.

http://www.iredmail.org/forum/post53213.html#p53213

Is it expected that the syncing of the draft folder should work and could
someone give me a tip about what to look at to solve it?

That would be very much appreciated,

Thanks in advance,

Chris

Re: [SOGo] Problem Adding Calendars - New install

2016-12-05 Thread Andreas
I had a similar problem. The reason was a wrong encoding of the
database/tables. As I changed them to UTF8, SOGo was able to create the
necessary tables for the users.

Are you using mysql or mariaDB?

Sorry for all the replies, im just trying to go through things.

Ive noticed that actually, the new tables added by the database update (SOGo
store, ACL and cachefolder) are all empty. I dont get any errors though, and
looking through the sogo conf, I can see that the new lines are added with all
the correct information..

Also, selecting the Address Book causes the browser to hang and produce
nothing..

Ive literally triederything i can think of..

However, if i log into the db with adminer and i check the sogo_folder_info

actually being inserted.

Any help would be much appreciated.. im close to starting all over again :(

Hi All,

I am having an issue with adding calendars on a new install. I decided to
change hosting providers so did a fresh install. On the previous install
whenever I created a user and logged in, it would create the Pesonal Calendar

get the following errors (view scrrenshot) and also in the sogo log i get the

[SOGo] Not supported calendar message.ics

2016-11-30 Thread Andreas
Hi,

When I get an invitation from an external outlook (exchange) person and
I accept it, the organizatior gets my replywith an attachment named
unsupported calendar message.ics and my status there won't be refreshed.
So he does not see, if I accepted the invite within the appointment.

Is there anything special with the ics answer?

Thanks, Andreas

AW: [SOGo] Calendar Event is duplicated when moved between calendars on iOS devices

2016-11-30 Thread "Andreas Blaha"
Hello Götz,

I have tried to move one appointment created in the WebGUI, one created in
Outlook / ActiveSync and one each on my IOS devices, one being an iPad 3, IOS
9.3.5, one an iPhone 6 on IOS 10.1.1. All appointments can be moved on both
devices without being duplicated.

Hope this helps?

What is your iOS device and version?

I try to figure out in what constelation that happens.

Re: [SOGo] Sogo and sendgrid

2016-11-25 Thread Andreas
I never tried using SOGo with gmail, but as SOGo supports the IMAP
protocol (and does not come with an own bundled IMAP Server) it may
work. You have to configure the IMAP server within /etc/sogo/sogo.conf
(very well documentated). I am not shure how SOGo will handle server
based rules and out-of-office replies in this szenario.

I am not quite sure what you want to archive. Gmail already has contact
and calendar support. SOGo is primarly meant as an enhancement to pure
IMAP server like dovecot so that you have a nice web interface and
contact and calendar support (and ActiveSync support). I only know
people who have moved from Gmail to SOGo.

If you worry to set up an own email server (postfix, dovecot) you could
try hosted.mailcow.email. They offer SOGo. Besides there is a download
version of mailcow with which you can set up an own server quite easily.

Re: [SOGo] Sogo and sendgrid

2016-11-25 Thread Andreas
Hi Arjon,

Sendgrid and AmazonSES are meant as SMTP gateways for reliable sending
large amount of emails. As far as I now neither provides email services
like IMAP which you'll need for SOGo.

You can run your own SOGo instance and connect it to a hosted IMAP/SMTP
server anywhere. But you will need an IMAP server for your domain.

Best,

Andreas

[SOGo] SOGo and mariaDB

2016-11-24 Thread Andreas
Hi,

I am using mailcow with SOGo and maria DB in Ubuntu 16.04. The problem
is that SOGo does not create the user specific tables, like
"sogodemo03456653535_quick etc.

I used the dump mysql-utf8mb4.sql to import the necessary tables and
made these settings before:

[mysqld]
character-set-client-handshake = FALSE
character-set-server = utf8mb4
collation-server = utf8mb4_unicode_ci
innodb_file_per_table = TRUE
innodb_file_format = barracuda
innodb_large_prefix= TRUE

The SOGo log tells me:

cannot execute quick-fetch SQL 'SELECT c_name, c_cn FROM
sogodemo0011fda3436_quick ORDER BY c_cn ASC': NAME:ExecutionFailed REASON:Table
'mailcow.sogotestalte0011fda3436_quick' doesn't exist

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Re: [SOGo] Search via ActiveSync

2016-11-18 Thread Andreas
Hmmm, meanwhile SOGo and nginx stop working when performing a search via
ActiveSync whereas searching in web interface is working pretty well.

I have endless log entries like:

container: /SOGo --
http://127.0.0.1:2/SOGo/Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync?User=u...@example.com=B5SHIQ32FCI8BAHL0U234OA64=iPhone=Search

baseURL: name=12055 (container=SOGoMailFolder)
 container: /SOGo/u...@example.com/Mail/0/folderArchive/
 own: /SOGo/u...@example.com/Mail/0/folderArchive/12055

In the end this results in:

*28613 connect() failed (111: Connection refused) while connecting to
upstream, client: 127.0.0.1, server: host.example.com, request: "GET
/SOGo/ HTTP/1.1", upstream: "http://127.0.0.1:2/SOGo/;, host:
"host.example.com"

This happens every time when searchin via ActiveSync (only tested on
iOS). I have absolutely no idea, what's going wrong. The mailbox is
really big, but searching via web interface is fast.

Thanks,

Andreas

[SOGo] Search via ActiveSync

2016-11-17 Thread Andreas
Hi,

I am running a quite large mailbox with nearly 20k mail in the inbox
folder and nearly 30k mails in an archive folder. With solr search is
working very fast in SOGo's web interface.

When searching via ActiveSync search is rather slow and sometimes causes
the SOGo process and nginx to stop responding (so that they have to be
restarted).

As far as I know I cannot exclude folders from search (otherwise I would
consider to exclude the Archive folder), but I guessed that ActiveSync
search would be as fast as searching within the web interface.

Are there any tuning tipps?

Thanks,

Andreas

[SOGo] ActiveSync socket shutdown

2016-11-15 Thread Andreas
Hi,

I am facing issues with ActiveSync while only having one client (1
device) on the server.

My logs say:

mail1 sogo.log: Nov 15 21:45:36 sogod [17252]: [ERROR]
<0x0x56309eb3b0a0[WOHttpTransaction]> client disconnected during

app=SOGo rqKey=Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync rqPath=(null)> (len=13): the
socket was shutdown

Sometimes even my nginx crashes.

This is my configuration in nginx:
location ^~ /Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync {
 proxy_pass
 http://127.0.0.1:2/SOGo/Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync;
 proxy_redirect http://127.0.0.1:2/Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync
 /;
 }
 location ^~ /SOGo/Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync {
 proxy_pass
 http://127.0.0.1:2/SOGo/Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync;
 proxy_redirect
 http://127.0.0.1:2/SOGo/Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync /;
 }

This is my config in sogo.conf

WOWorkersCount = 15;
SOGoMaximumPingInterval = 3540;
SOGoMaximumSyncInterval = 3540;
SOGoInternalSyncInterval = 30;

What could be the reason for the crashes? SOGo web interface is working
pretty good ...

Thanks,

Andreas

[SOGo] SOGo v3 and Calendars

2016-11-15 Thread "Andreas Blaha"
Hi,

I have upgraded my test server to v3.2.1 and since experience an issue with
calendars which definitely worked in 2.3.17:

I can create events (even recurring ones) and tasks in the web interface and
can see them properly, both in web ui and via active sync. If though I
import a calendar (114 recurring events) I receive the message "114 events

the iPhone synced with ActiveSync, and also via CalDAV.

Is this a known bug that I just could not find in the list?

[SOGo] Web Interface: mark multiple messages as read

Hi,

Within the web interface I have the option to select multiple messages
and mark them as unread. Besides, I would love the option to also mark
them as read. Is this a missing feature? Or am I missing anything?

[SOGo] Web Interface shows flags $notjunk and notjunk

2016-10-28 Thread Andreas
Hi,

every new mail are shown with the two flags "$notjunk" and "notjunk"
within SOGo's web interface. I am using spamassassin with amavis, but I
do not set these flags.

Maybe SOGo converts headers ("X-SPAM") to flags?

Yes, you're right. I've tested it again.

I assumed that iOS 10 is supporting server based search. In fact, it
does, but only via IMAP, not via ActiveSync. I tested it with an
Office365 account, there it worked neither.

So thanks again for supporting me here!

It's an active/active cluster, we also run an active/active mysql

with the sogo database, right?

Or is there a separate database?

[SOGo] Problem with sieve filters

2016-10-26 Thread Andreas
Hi,

we are using dovecot with sieve, our configuration is:

plugin {
...
 sieve = ~/sieve/sogo.sieve
 sieve_global_path = /opt/sieve/default.sieve
 sieve_dir = ~/sieve
 sieve_global_dir = /opt/sieve
...
}

We are also using dsync for syncing mails and sieve with dovecots
replication system. This seem to work fine, because the file sogo.sieve
of one user on both systems are identical (changes are replicated
immediatly).

When accessing the Filter Settings in SOGo's web interface, both server
show different filters, so I wonder where SOGo saves the filter which
were set via web interface.

This is our setting in sogo.conf:

SOGoSieveServer = sieve://localhost:4190;

Thanks,

Andreas

[SOGo] SOGo ActiveSync sever based search imap

2016-10-26 Thread Andreas
Hi,

we are running Dovecot with solr and the search from SOGo's web
interface is very fast. As far as we can see, mobile devices that are
connected via ActiveSync (e.g. iOS 10.1) do not perform a server based
search but only display mails that are already synchronized.

I wonder if this is by design or could be changed via a setting or is a
misconfiguration on our system.

Thanks,

[SOGo] SOGo Webinterface address book, problem notes field

2016-10-25 Thread Andreas
Hi,

when adding a new contact with SOGo's Web interface the notes field is
prefilled with "[object Object]". Without removing or overwriting this,
the contact could not be saved.

We have connected SOGo via LDAP:

SOGoUserSources = (
{
 type = ldap;
 CNFieldName = cn;
 UIDFieldName = uniqueIdentifier;
 bindFields = (uniqueIdentifier); // array of fields to use for
 indirect binds
 baseDN = "ou=Users,dc=example,dc=com";
 canAuthenticate = YES;
 hostname = ldap://ldap.example.com:389!StartTLS;
 bindDN = "uid=sogo,ou=Services,dc=example,dc=com";
 bindPassword = 123456;
 id = directory;
 isAddressBook = NO;
 userPasswordAlgorithm = CRYPT;
 MailFieldNames = ( mail, mailAlias );
}
 );

Ist there any error in our config?

[SOGo] Re. SOGo not sending scripts to managesieve

2016-10-21 Thread Andreas

Hi Oliver,

I am facing the same problem. Did you find a solution in the meantime?

Regards,

Andreas

Hello Christian,

thanks for your reply.
The only setting that was different from yours it the MailSpoolPath. I
adapted it, but nothing changed.
I also created the script /var/vmail/.../sieve/sogo.sieve as well as the
link /var/vmail/.../.sieve pointing to the sogo script. But as before,
when I modify the filter rules in the SOGo web interface and save the
changes, SOGo tells managesieve the command 'SETACTIVE ""' which deletes
the link /var/vmail/.../.sieve and furthermore 'DELETESCRIPT "sogo"'
which removes the file /var/vmail/.../sieve/sogo.sieve. But then SOGo
doesn't sends any further instructions to create a new sogo script and
to reenable it.
I'm not using any other software than SOGo to modify my sieve scripts.

Oliver

Betreff: Re: [SOGo] SOGo not sending scripts to managesieve

Hallo to allerseits
I had a similar problem about a long time ago when I first implemented
SOGo
there the following settings in /etc/sogo/sogo.conf that are relevant
with sieve
SOGoMailSpoolPath = /var/vmail;
[...]
SOGoSieveServer = "sieve://mail.mydomain.org:4190";
SOGoSieveScriptsEnabled = YES; // (Sieve Script einschalten)
SOGoVacationEnabled = YES;
SOGoForwardEnabled = YES;
this will result that for example in this described case sogo expects
u...@mydomain.org to have a folder called
/var/vmail/ u...@mydomain.org/sieve/
and in it a file called :
/var/vmail/ u...@mydomain.org/sieve/sogo.sieve
The first thing to remember is that
1) YOU MUST CREAT IT. SOGo will not create this file for you. And you
must call it sogo.sieve. No other name is good.
And you have to place the link from
ln /var/vmail/ u...@mydomain.org/sieve/sogo.sieve /var/vmail/
u...@mydomain.org/.dovecot.sieve
for dovecot to know this is the main sieve script. SOGo will not put the
link.
For some reason this file (/var/vmail/
u...@mydomain.org/sieve/sogo.sieve) is not read correctly by SOGo.
If you create it and modify it with SOGo the world looks fine, but you
must never touch this script with another editor.
2) If you modify this file for example with the Thunderbird app SOGO
will ignore the changing and will overwrite it with the last version you
created with SOGo next time.
Also SOGo does not allow one to write the sieve script by hand.
The Thunderbird plugin will let you create a huge number of scripts, but
you can always activate only one.
The script you create with Thunderbird will be called main.sieve and if
you activate it your script you created with SOGo will not be active.
And probably this is happening with your case.
Have Fun
Christian

As managesieve does not throw any error despite from the non-existant
sogo script, I suppose, the fault is located on the sogo side and
dovecot is configured correctly.
Is somone else using SOGo 3.1.x on Ubuntu 16.04 with dovecot 2.2.22?

Hi,

for dovecot I've got:

plugin {
 sieve = /var/vmail/%d/%n/.dovecot.sieve
 sieve_dir = /var/vmail/%d/%n/.sieve
 sieve_before = /etc/dovecot/sieve.before

where .dovecot.sieve is a link to the active sieve script in folder
.sieve

ls -la /var/vmail/moosbee.de/tilo/.dovecot.sieve -> .sieve/sogo.sieve

The active script is defined by the link target.

Hope that helps.

Hi,

I wonder if there any plans for implementation of a 2FA into SOGo Web
Interface. We got it running with an LDAP-Proxy (and DUO, so there was
no need to enter a token but to accept a push message on your phone).
Cavecat is obviously that with this setup a 2FA is also needed for
mobile users with caldav etc.

Did anybody have an idea for realizing that?

[SOGo] Invitations to external users using Outlook are shown as not supported calendar message

2016-10-19 Thread Andreas Altenburg
Hi,

I’ve seen that this question was discussed before and as far as I’ve
understood it should be already solved. Nevertheless the problem occurs
in our setup again (we are using SOGo 3 from the latest nightly build).

When sending meeting invitations to external users who are using
Outlook, they won’t see any RSVP buttons (no matter if outlook.com in
Browser, Outlook 2016 on Mac with Office365 or Outlook 2016 on Windows
on an inhouse Exchange server). Instead of this the attachment has the
name „not supported calendar message.ics“.

The invitation was sent from SOGo Web Interface. Below you’ll find
the mail headers and the ics content (I replaced the origin domain
with „test“).

I understand that Microsoft often does not respect any standards, but
many users are on Exchange/Office365 and we need to be able to send
invitations to them.

If there is anything we can contribute for further debugging please
let uns know.

Andreas

Betreff: [SOGo] Question about Calendar ACL

Hi all,
- Sogo 2.x.x
- Sogo 3.x.x
When a user sharing your calendar (through Web UI), he can set
"This person can create objects in my calendar" and
"This person can erase objects from my calendar"
There is a way to allow: "This person can edit objects in my calendar" ?

Thanks

AW: [SOGo] time-zone dependencies

2016-09-15 Thread "Andreas Blaha"
Hi all,
someone has answered to my whining, in 2.3.15 all-day-events are synced
correctly with EAS.
Interesting fact: the second issue I have/had (the shifting, now by 1 hour
forward!) can be narrowed down to events that are recurring for quite some
time, like my parents' birthdays which I saved with their birth date as
starting point. This behaviour is due to the appointment taking place before
Germany and Austria (and possibly others I have not checked) brought in the
daylight saving time in 1980. So: not a bug but a feature, as all events that
old now respect the timeshift by one hour. This is done by Outlook on the
client with taking time zone settings into account.
Thanks anyway!

Andy

Hi Thomas,
compiling myself is something I have not yet dared to go for. I will probably
have to wait for a fix later on.
caldav works fine, it's just not so straightforward for my users. and the
problem is only with all-day-events ...

Hi Andreas!

I cannot reproduce the time shift, but see the same problem with recurring
events.
The problem is the RRULE:FREQ=YEARLY.

According to https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn292994(v=exchg.80).aspx
MonthOfYear and DayOfMonth are required for Type=5 but this elements are not
generated for above rrule.

If you are compiling from source you can test attached patch.

Hello,
similar problem here:
running SOGo 2.3.14,
in sogo.conf and on the system (centOS 7, tzselect) TZ is set to Europe/Vienna,
same on the client web interface and on the client system settings (Windows 10,
Outlook 2016) in the web interface all is fine, in Outlook /EAS all all day
appointments are either shifted backwards by one day or by 23 hours, see
enclosed screenshots (I trust you don't use the appointments against me ;-) ).
The shown example is from an additional calendar created in this mailbox but
the effect ist he same fort he default personal calendar.
Also, as you can see from the screenshots, not all appointments are
synchronized with EAS. If I change some of them to non-all-day events, they
show up immediately.

I have exported the calendar, it looks normal to me, one example that SHOWS up:

BEGIN:VEVENT
UID:753E-57D2BE00-1B-32A6CA8
SUMMARY:Fritz S... GEBURTSTAG

TRIGGER;VALUE=DURATION:-P1D

END:VALARM

And one that DOES NOT SHOW up
:

PRIORITY:5
CATEGORIES:Geburtstag
BEGIN:VALARM
TRIGGER;VALUE=DURATION:-P1D
ACTION:DISPLAY
END:VALARM
RRULE:FREQ=YEARLY
TRANSP:TRANSPARENT
END:VEVENT

Here the sequence is missing in the ones that do not show.
If I check their content in the web interface (view raw source) they are
identical entirely except the sequence number.

Any ideas?

The SPEC-file for SOGo has missing build dependencies I worked around.

I created a .rpmmacros with these inital settings:

%sope_major_version 4
%sope_minor_version 9
%sope_source SOPE-%{sogo_version}.tar.gz
%sope_version 4.9
%sogo_version 2.3.13

With these settings it works somewhat better but it breaks at:

creating: /root/rpmbuild/BUILD/SOPE/config.make

optional library found: ldap
optional library found: ssl
optional library found: pq
failed to link optional library: mysqlclient
configuring NGStreams library done (log in config-NGStreams.log).
+ make CC=gcc '%{sope_makeflags}'
This is gnustep-make 2.6.6. Type 'make print-gnustep-make-help' for help.

Re: [SOGo] SSL issues SOGo web access and ActiveSync

2016-06-01 Thread Andreas Gebetsroither
You can also get a cert from "lets encrypt". It's official and supported
by the most browsers and android only Thunderbird don´t know it at the
moment.

The only thing is you need to renew it every 3 month but there are good
guides where you can have a look at.

Please, note that ActiveSync will not work with self-generated certs.

That's at least not completely true: ActiveSync on Android 5 and 6
works perfectly with my self-generated certs.

Re: [SOGo] Strange warning with sogo-tool

2016-05-26 Thread Andreas Blaha
I have asked this a week ago, this is what has been replied by the developers:
"It's a warning that should be silenced - it should still work."

Hi

I'm using 2.3.x nightly branch rpm repo on centos 6.x.

sogo-tool-2.3.11.20160526-1.centos6.x86_64

In the last days I've started receiving this warnings (or errors I don't
know) when using sogo-tool:

/usr/sbin/sogo-tool expire-autoreply -p /etc/sogo/sieveadm.passwd

How could be solved ?

thx in advance.
