I am running ARS 7.0 on SQL Server 2005 and need to create a view form of an
Oracle table.
So far i have created the dblink and can query oracle directly from SQL
Server. I need help with the syntax of the view form connection in Remedy
Admin.
The syntax i've tried is:

you have a record with a number that has the word clear in it, and when
that record is called have work flow set the fields to NULL.

Can't add that 'cos like I said the menu grabs records from another form
and that form can not have a blank or a clear record 'cos even that form

If I recall correctly, there is no default value (i.e. the field is NULL)
for that type of field. The problem only occurs when a value is selected,
perhaps by mistake. At that point, the only way to clear that value without
clearing the form is to have a (clear) value added to the list.

Just to be clear, updating the FT index when a record changes take
virtually no time at all. It's the initial indexing when one first
marks a field to be full text indexed that's "locking up" the server.
I think its because the sites select the OS they are using, and yes;

"BMC Atrium CMDB Enterprise Manager" is I think $100k per site, or $1.2M for
an enterprise license. Plus costs per endpoint, like $150 per server
