We use mailenable POP3 as intermediate incoming email engine. Configure this
as outgoing email with IP, port, and username and password setup in mailenable.
Google mailenable as its freeware.
For outgoing, you need an active SMTP source of some type, and is allowable via
your network routing
Have you tried using FQDN (server plus domain name) or using IP in place of
server name?

was introduced in 7.5, though the 7.6x versions are better and more fully

We are also seeing evidence that frontline support is completely out if its
depth when attempting to resolve product issues. We feel like we have a
fighting chance once we get to backline, but not until then. We end up
solving far more problems on our own than support does.
