Manuel, The book does not indicate that Francis left the island. A death date of 6 Nov 1893 is given. He married Deborah Vincent and together had 7 children. As for a Manuel- on page N512 it says Manuel Machado, son of Matthew and Martha Machado, both from St. George, came to Edgartown and too
