Yeah a lot of it just depends on the manager and their skills as a manager. Our whole office telecommutes and we use collaboration software such as SpotON! (SSP) and Yugma to keep track of everyone. We all talk via IM and we have a Packet8 virtual PBX. It works well and we are very productive.

It's not going to matter until they open the phones up for third party applications just like every other phone out there. If you need to go through some laborious process or be a 'preferred' Apple provider or something like that then the phones will stagnate and become as niche as a Mac PC.

Tell me something. While apple sells a million phones, is it that people aren't also purchasing OTHER phones? Apparently not very many.. And those same ones that poeple have been buying for years now haven't had any sort of impact on the web browser, which is what this thread was about.

I dunno but it still pisses me off that it still gets errors on its queries taking to long to run (with a whopping 13 items in the store). I let it go on a shared server but on a very nice ded server it still does it.. not as often but even on a shared server with a 50 second time out limit it

well there is some things different on the mac hardware side, like intel chips. If apple really took hold of gaming I could really see a lot of switchers. Personally, I don't think they are too expensive, i dont think there is a pc notebook on the face of the earth I would trade my mbp for.
