Juniper has something called "the olive" which is a PC running JunOS.
So you can have a "Juniper" with 2 fastether interface to play with.
You get all the features, just not the speed.
I don't know if they can make it available to just anybody...

Just wanted to mention I think Adtran makes some interesting products, we
used a couple of their sdsl units (forget the model number) to simulate a
sdsl linke between two banks. We were able to bet 768k/s over 1 pair of
copper provided by the phone company, distance being around 1.2-1.3 miles

Dark fiber might be one of those terms that is used differently from place
to place. But when I used to splice fiber for a LEC, we referred to dark

send us the prints and assign the fibers that they wanted us to splice

Thanks to the members of this list I
passed the support 2.0 exam today so now I'm a CCNP. As previously posted
the test is only 61 questions with a passing score of 692. There were a
few questions that were worded strangely but for the most part not to bad.
