and observed the Golden-crowned Sparrow come out of the brush around
8:00 A.M.and feed on the ground next to a classic White-winged Junco.
The female Prairie Falcon was perched on top of Frog Rock and the male

upper apple tree for about 10 minutes before departing. Also had a
male Cassin's Finch perch in the crown of the lower apple tree for a

difficult to find after a move). But when we started birding 20 years ago we
were eager to find that sparrow and took a number of bags of seed to
