There seems to be a bug in the ppp code in kernel 2.4.0 that stops me from
going to certain web sites.
This bug does not occur when I take the same system to a friends and access
the Internet via ethernet. This bug also did not occur when I was running a
2.2.16 kernel with the latest ppp.rpm
It seems that everytime kdebase is upgraded, every windows sessions
appears in KDM list, even if not currently available. Maybe just a
missing call to /usb/bin/chksession could correct this ?

include it. Install samba-client from redhat's development ftp and you should be ok..

files to upgrade and click "Do Updates", it downloads the updates, says
preparing to install, then then window closes and the rpm's are never

1)
My home machine has a cd-rw a dvd and a zip drive. You detected and
configured the cd-rw,
but pointed it at the wrong "device" , instead of pointing it to "scd1" it
should have been pointing to
"scd0", I had to change this
