has an audio Chromecast, so I can take a laptop over to his house and
see what happens with LMS before having my other friend buy the
hardware. Yeah, it's cheap, but it'll let me know if the choice involves

Okay, I looked at it a bit more (I'm a longtime user but I'm not an
engineer or other techologist by any means) and it looks like it's
telling me that the connection to the LMS "server" (on my home network)
is insecure.
Maybe this is a new caution in browsers or I just didn't notice it
before.

using 7.6.1 or if through a direct connection to Mysqueezebox.com, that
the web interface (both with Firefox and Chrome) indicates an insecure

Win machines tend to accumulate a lot of garbage settings that delay
boot-up. Google "Run msconfig" to see how to adjust Startup set

internal HD that would hold 3X your current collection. Look for EEE
