yeah, i did try that, and /dev/hde, and f, g.
I also found something in the kernel:
CONFIG_BLK_DEV_IDE_SATA
It mentions enabling this for ide drives. I tried it with and w/out the
sata_sis. Ive also tried sata_sis as a module, Ive also tried adding it to
the initrd with mkinitrd.

kbear keeps barfing on me.. getting real tired if that, but whats pissing me
off more is this damn raid setup. I still havnt gotten linux to see the
drives. I have tested it in windows xp, and the hardware does work.
