Symantec Backup Exec is a really good option also. I use it here and send my
BUps to my 4Tb network Raid 5 array. Symantec gives the option to set how
many BUps before it overwrites last first. It also does snapshots in case
the system is running during a backup.

All excellent comments, but those of us with little ones are hesitant to
shut off services or processes as recommended by sites maintained by
gamers. A list of recommended shut-offs from trusted Flexers would be

A few people did not get the attachment with my email. I have resent the
file to those people this morning.
If your email is stripping the attachment, write me again and I will send
the file with a bogus extension to try to fool your email filters.

I am using com0com and latest registered versions of CW Skimmer and VAC.
Radio is 5000A with current SDR, firmware and driver.
Any suggestions from anyone else who has made this work would be especially
appreciated.

Two Questions:
1) Wouldn't the panadapter would look pretty quiet outside the preselector
bandpass?
2) Isn't this re-engineering a 5000 to work like a conventional radio?
Wiser to invest the effort on better software than more of the components we
are trying to get away from?
