I just replaced the CPU in my computer, went from a AMD 6000 to a AMD 550, a
bit more powerful but not like going to one of those uber powerful Intel i7
CPU's.
I went ahead and blew away my Wisdom file and had PowerSDR do the auto bit to
create a new Wisdom, but wondered what the difference

Check in your Bios that Speed Step is turned off.
Speed Step, Cool and Quite in AMD speak does not play well with Power SDR.
Speed Step and the AMD version of same shuts down the CPU for small bits of
time to reduce power and keep the CPU running cooler.

those have a higher degree of power line filtering and could keep conducted
emissions from your computer from getting back into the radio.
