antennas for them. I have actually made a couple of PSK 31 contacts, but
that was on 2 meters with a station about 150 miles away.

from weak power supplies...yes; a couple of Ferrite Blocks will take care of

the 50's and 60's sound terrible until they are modified. Most of them had
restricted audio bandwidth and horrible things like clippers and high/low

Rarely is CPU usage over 10%.
I've even been running PowerSDR in the foreground with a Premiere Pro

course you could have a hardware problem in the 5000A itself. In that case,
the problem will happen even with a simple configuration. Best of luck with

t know if there are government regulations on radiation from security
systems as there are for computers. But, if there are, you approach might be
to ADT to get them to conform.

I am running a Dell duo core with, as I recall 2Megs of RAM and XP Home
Eddition with Service Pack 3.
I am now running Power SDR 2.2.3 which I downloaded last evening and seems to
work fine.
Does anyone have any ideas?

tried the Trial Version in order to proceed with the purchase. Since I hadn't,
I didn't proceed.
I am running Power SDR Beta 2.2.2 with a Dell Duo Core and XP.

included the audio in and out cables, TX-1 and TX-2, PTT for foot switch,
and the Firewire and 12VDC cable. No glitches after doing this. Good luck.
