I get the following "s" meter upper scale readings with the rx preamp and am
wondering why they are backwards (the higher the gain the lower the
reading). This is with no input signal to the receiver.

Be very careful with version 12 when you go to play back a wav file with the
flex recorder. The level is about 10 times the needed level and it may pop
your amp if you dont get to the mox button fast enough.

A followup to the ALC question. I am wondering if perhaps the 100 watt pa is
improperly loaded into a 52 ohn dummy load? If the impedence of the pa is
say 25 ohms, it wil not operate with the proper peak to peak output no matter
what you do to the driver.

The problem with mute in version 12 is that it WILL activate yellow when the
software is in STANDBY mode. When you switch the software to ON it will
not go yellow on pushing the mute button.

I believe you only need to run it once, it saves some data so the FFTW3
