I have run a Flex 1500 on a Microsoft Surface tablet-earliest version running
Windows 8. I have run it on two different MACs using Windows 8 and 8.1 under
Bootcamp. Had no problems other than fonts on tablet were too small for tired

The FLEX-1500 does not have the necessary hardware to measure reflected
power. Therefore the "Ref Pwr" & "SWR" settings are not functional if you
are using a FLEX-1500.
The PowerSDR software is not only used with the FLEX-1500, but also with the

Simple-- the main audio slider (upper corner area) switches to being the
sidetone/monitor audio level slider when you key down. So hold a long

Using my Flex 1500 with great success on all digimodes, including WSPR. Oddly,
WSPR 2.21 will enable the Flex to band hop via CAT on all bands EXCEPT 15m.
Using PSDR 2.5.3. Thoughts anyone? Bob K4RCG

I hope I am not about to ask a stupid question, but here
goes.
I have a F3K running with CWSkimmer without issues. No
problems whatever.
I recently acquired a F1.5K. I cannot get Skimmer to work
properly at all.
My question is: What is the difference, concerning Skimmer,
between the 3k and 1
