Are you running as root? i have seen people have problems with runapp trying
to set negative nice numbers if they aren't root(which is not allowed on
linux). It tends to set the nice to a positive number instead and actually
degrades performance.

There is a radio plugin called audio.radio. It depends on the command
line radio program. See its plugin help using the freevo command on the

I have to agree they aren't terribly user friendly. I have worked on
other projects that use xml configs and generally you have to build an
in process editor if you go that route because users never remember the
XML escaping rules.
Also you generally end up having order be important if you use a

the new element that provides support for a GENERIC games type which may
just allow you nerw emulator to be integrated with only a little bit of

I take it you found the wiki documentation lacking? You can help improve
it. THere is a small ilnk at the bottom which ordinary users can use to
help improve the documentation.
I think one of the problems freevo suffers from is the general driver
problem. I was lucky in that I found this project
lircrc is not the same as /etc/lircd.conf
there unfortuneately any real documentation on it yet. I went through
the old steps of creating a remote.py so I can run the convertor script
in the helpers directory.
In general the file is a translation table to convert stuff from your
/etc/lircd.conf

check the settings of the audio variables in freevo_config.py Look at
