Anyone have strong opinions about brands of on-the-counter/handheld
barcode scanners? I've had Opticon but am now looking at Symbol or
Metrologic. I'd love wireless but don't have the budget.

becoming a permanent part of the book, was it acid free, and it felt
weird. But now, after using regular book covers, I'm reconsidering -
but only if it's acid free.
