I asked the question to ascertain if there's a particular partition, say /tmp
which has around 18GB of disk space and the file is temporarily transferred
there. Since the disk space is limited to ~18GB, the file being transferred

If a script runs from the console but not from cron, 99% of the time
it's one of these two things -
1. The user which executes the cron script is not the same
But the scripts runs for say 18Gb and then gives the 'not enough disk
space error'
2. The script depends on
have changed time in CRON and right now the script seems
to be working fine. 34 of 38G has been copied till now.
Earlier I was running the script at 11:45 PM in cron. Timing Problem!!??

Hi,
In my office we have about 50 diskless machine with Boot ROM on NIC.
Currently it boots from Windows XP Server.
How to make these machines boot from Linux Server and use Linux on these
machines?

wvdialconf create will create your configuration file. I wrongly
stated in previous mails tht wvdial will create the configuration
file.

You were connected to the internet but something caused you to disconnect it
i.e. You modem had to exit gracefully. there can be several reasons
for this. Anyways did you press CTRL+C or CTRL+D... pressing them
also exits you gracefully from using ur modem.
