files from opening in a browser. Last I checked, even though Windows
"prefers" if you set all associations within itself, this still plays nicely

Control f to Forward a message, works for me, using Windows Live Mail in
Windows7. If the email has an attachment, then by default it will be
sent. If you don't want to send the attachment, in any case you can

When you are in the message try shift-tabbing once and you should land on
your attachment, which will be a button so space bar to activate it and
proceed to save or open it.
If you already know that there is an attachment you can just skip that last
step, press alt-f and down arrow until you hear
The easiest way is to not open the message, but to focus on it in the
message list and hit ALT-F N. This way you are in the familiar dropdown
menu, as opposed to the ribbon.
