You might try fabric stores. They sometimes have fairly thick, flexible
acrylic on bolts, like fabric. People use it to make rain coats

I did a roaring trade in crochet lace dresses in the late 60s in my
off-work hours. Just about all my friends and acquaintances below the age
of about 28 wore them and I was the only one able to crochet. They had a
choice of long or short

I know Susan Groh had a really pretty Torchon pattern that went

straight edge to a circular or oval one using the lace design program so I

No, that has been possible - back to .lc5 files anyway. I couldn't track
down my .lc1 files to try out. They now get saved as .lc8, so you will need
Lace8 to open any of the files saved as .lc8. You can't share them with R-XP
users for instance

Marianne, you could always try the Christine Springett way of spangling
where the wire ends are inside the large bead at the bottom and cannot catch
on anything, its a bit tricky at first but once you get used to it I think
its the best way.
