I scanned these at 300 dpi for closeup views and then bumped up the
brightness in my Photoshop program so you can see more of the
stitches. Yes black is hard to photograph/scan.

I am pretty sure the lacer used cotton thread. I am guessing at size 40-50?
It is just over 3 whole stitches per inch on the footside. There are 3
twists added in between the WS for strength. Curious to what thread size
they used too.

I had good intentions of making a scarf from lace weight yarn. I picked out
this soft fuzzy yarn to lace with. But instead I turned it into a cover for
a pouch and gave it to a friend. I added beads on the tail ends instead of
