I usually put the headstone information as the source, but I also list
it in the burial notes, not death notes. If you attach a photo to the
burial notes, it will not print in reports. So I also created an event
called Headstone which I attach the photo to.

Since many gravestones have information on more than one person thereon, I'd
tend to have a master source of Gravestone (or Headstone or Tombstone) and
record the information as detail with the photograph attached to the detail.
Then I'd attach the source to whatever event I needed to
If I think someone is related somehow but I can't quite prove it yet, I go
ahead and take the time to add them as an unrelated individual and record
all of the info I have on them right in Legacy. When I find that connection
later on it is so easy to link them where they belong.

There are basically two ways of doing this within Legacy:
1) Add them as unrelated individuals on your main file ie. as separate tree(s)
(AddNew Unlinked Individuals).
2) Create a separate .fbd file with a new name eg. Casuals.fdb (FileNew
Family File)and put them all in there.

It depends a lot on your email provider.
For instance, on gmail you don't see your own posting, until you get a
response from someone (at which point you see your own too.)Probably
your email provider just doesn't give you your own email to the list.

I don't think the problem is with Ampersands in general, but the OS they are
on. Unix/Linux uses special characters as control characters and they can
(and have in the past) really mess up things. When building websites, it is
always better to not use special characters except for the
