Time to make a Lowe’s trip in the morning with a 10% off coupon and buy another
hybrid water heater like the one I put in at the old house. Yeah, they’re $1200
new, but cost about $100/year to operate. A comparable standard resistance
element water heater costs around $400/year, so the hybrid pa
I will say that documenting a job like the Finnie is a bit of a PITA, you get
used to incorporating it into the process. I like doing it as I enjoy sharing
the work with others, plus it gives me reference points if I need to return to
a particular job or repair validate my work or check against
Unless someone recent.y got one, probably not. I asked earlier this year and
came up empty.

don’t the old one will fail in a week or two, guaranteed.

I recall this one from the last time around. Nice car, but lots of work done on
the body that would concern me for the long run.
I’ve got my eyes on a 1966 gasser that a guy has had on CL over by Orlando for
awhile. It started at $12k and several months later it’s down to $9k. The

I’ve mentioned this previously and it’s probably not an option for Kaleb, but
around here Spectrum (Charter bought out Brighthouse and this is their new

Here’s the straight poop from someone who was involved heavily in the buildout
of both AT&T and Verizon’s cellular networks:
Both carriers have the highest number of cells nationwide of any carrier that
is a primary, with Verizon having the most. All the others, save Sprint, are

No question. A set of Nokia Hakkapelitas can’t be beat.

As I get things sorted at the new house, I purchase new products, some quite
substantial and/or expensive. I have expectations that these products be well
designed and built, some of the criteria I use to make my purchase decision.
I’m questioning the competence of some major manufacturers after

AC guy just left. Nothing I did disturbed things, it was pure chance.
“A” coil has leaks and the system has leaked down to the point where the low
pressure switch won’t engage. Looks like the coil is warranty but I’ll have to
cover the labor. Easy R&R as the unit is right in my garag
Don’t buy a HF inch pound torque wrench. I don’t like the way they click (or
don’t). The click doesn’t seem to be very positive.
When I did the injector reseal on the W211 I needed a 1/4” drive torque wrench
that would do 7 inch-pounds. I got this one and was very pleased with it:

I came rally close to going OLED when I bought a new TV earlier this year. I
realize they punch everything up in the stores, but across the board they were
definitely better as far as picture quality.
I’ve got a 55” plasma that we took out of service because it was ghosting
