I don't think the Sirius Super Test cares (or can even know, for that
matter) whether a pack is NiCD or NiMH...as long as it's 4, 5 or 8 cells it
should work fine. Maybe a diode issue with a particular pack prevents it
from discharging through the tester?

Up for flaps/spoilers retracted...this correlates to power RC (up=throttle
open or go, down =throttle closed or stop). This would also minimize
problems if you fly someone else's plane.

We had a big turnout at the MOSS field this afternoon, old stalwlarts,
lost souls returning, new faces, kids, flying everything from free flight
to DLG to high tech unlimited to electric park flyers.
So here's three things I learned at the field today:
1. If your stick isn't
use we had them already. I will
make the special tape for the next contest.
The next F3XTD contest is the first Sunday next month at HSS field in Costa
Mesa, CA. Come on out. We will set the field for 7 winches next time. (The
club is re conditioning a few extra winches for next month.)

I think most of your problem would be solved with a bit of down elevator.
If you don't have elevator trim in launch mode, then use your slider to put
it in. You can always slide it back to neutral after zoom.
