Nominatim also uses data that is not in OSM. They did some imports into their database. That's why there was a postcode 12 in Reet last year. They removed that one. So it is possible to have postal code nodes that are not in OSM, and which cannot be deleted in the normal way of course. as a side

The default (Mapnik) renderer changed not too long ago. It used to be the case that everything with a name tag was rendered. This is no longer the case and might cause the issue you noticed. Since a castle is a building I see no problem to add a tag building=yes/residential/... regards m On

wat doe je met een straat die echt de grens is ? Afzonderlijke nodes maar de wegen over elkaar ? voorbeeld: http://osm.org/go/0EpG_cM4m?way=22920473 feitelijk stemt het stukje voor huisnummers 44-48 niet de werkelijkheid overeen. Beide gemeentes zijn verantwoordelijk voor de helft van de rijweg.
