You can also switch from automatic brightness control to manual brightness. Then you set a single brightness level (it also dims very slightly after 10 seconds). Not real convenient if you have to dig through the menus to change it, and there's no brightness button on the remote any more. --

I used to have the SB3 connected to a Cambridge audio DacMagic and the most noticeable was the extension in base as well as channel separation. Now with the Touch, the touch comes very close to the DacMagic. The latter performs a better job in the mids and high tones as well as channel separation.

My Squeezebox Touch came in this week and I paired it with an Icon Amp at 48W. They are a perfect little pair. The Icon is the same width as the Touch and acts as a small platform. Sounds great! Regarding the touch, it's very very nice. The UI is intuitive and responsive. Sound is great.
