I guess I should have qualified the statement ...I'm happy. I'm not
as concerned as I would be if I was still in the middle of building my
system. I really only have one room where I could use a squeezebox

I haven't done it myself, but I think you would have to log into the
touch to a command prompt and execute a cp (copy) command to copy the
files. How do you log into a command prompt you ask? That I don't
remember offhand. You will also have to figure out at which locations
in the file system
, this won't work.

Using headphone out will certainly work, but it's bound to introduce

@craiglester - wow, that's harsh! I don't know what Logitech is
thinking! Their sales organization seems like a disaster. It's
apparent that they aren't clued in at all.

Amazon at the moment is showing that the Touch will be in stock through
Crutchfield on April 19 - 1 week from today.
So it looks like the Touch is starting to make it's way through the
retail chain.

I just pulled the trigger on one from Crutchfield too! Thanks for the
code! Between that, free shipping, and not tax, I'm happy with the
price.
Guess I'll have to figure out what the issue was with 7.5.0 in my
setup.

It's taken so long for this to come out, so it's exciting and I'm trying
to be upbeat :-).
Looking at Amazon's website, I realized that the Squeezebox Receiver
isn't listed either (and hasn't been for some time). Hopefully this
doesn't mean that the Touch is now

I think they are all nursing their hangovers from the big party last
night to celebrate the release of 7.5. ;-)

I went to Logitech's main website and found the Touch, but it shows out
of stock. Amazon still shows it as a preorder. Clicking on buy now
at the top of these forums takes me to a dead link.
Where exactly are people buying these?

This time at least they are in code lockdown (code freeze) except for
bug fixes, so there is another indicator that this thing should be
released soon.
Hopefully it is more toward the beginning of April rather than the end.

Instead of the release being Wow - the Touch was released, COOL, it
