I guess the database is on the drive (.db files)
I don't know if what is called "start the server" is actually starting
TinySBS, or just SQLLite.

My ISP, my router, and my PCs are all IPV6.
My Touch is the only device in the network (LAN) which appear to be
only IPV4 aware.

Rebuffering problems are much worse than they used to be with 7.6
I dropped 7.5.3 and 7.5.4 and switch to 7.6 beta because it solved
those rebuffering problems.
Now it seems they get back in latests 7.6
ng is ok.
I don't use any plugin, only SBS server on a laptop, or TinySBS with a
usb stick.
I avoid direct connection to mysqueezebox.com which is not reliable.
In my opinion, Logitech should have kept 7.5.2 until 7.6 is official.

Any device or Operating System with time feature provides such a basic

That's not easy since you cannot use the computer before resources are

You can use the alarm function, but a backup regular alarm clock is

identified with 7.5.3, so it is there, even of 50% of customers don't
have it.
Nobody extrapolate failure for everybody.
I 'am just saying, if it works for you, don't extrapola
than if I have no problem with a USB stick, if my 10,000
files cannot be handled on a HDD, and if 50,000 mp3s of garyms'brother
works fine ...

quick look at how the database id handled.
One example, the way SBS handles artwork is simply a nonsense for me.
So I guess there is massive improvement to expect in the way SBS and
its database is developed and organized.

I said earlier, the fact that your brother uses mp3 files helps a
lot.
mp3 are much smaller than flac files, and far easier to handle.
More than that, 50G (I guess it is 50G and not 50k as you wrote), is
not a big library.

All my disks are NTFS, and I regularly defragment them.
I suppose you have a backup disk, you could try to format the backup in
NTFS and see if it is better.
300 Go is a big library, mine is about 120 Go.
