I'm still seeing a lot of crashes using the beta on Mavericks (and have
been reporting them using the crash reporter). Hopefully a new beta is
coming soon!
Most of the crashes seem to occur when Versions is idle in the background,
not while I am actually using it.

Create a new Bookmark Folder and drag your Bookmarks into it. Now when you
click on the folder, you'll be able to sort the contents of the folder

There is currently no way to search the history, but it's on the feature
request list.
