Subject: Re: Black screen in VNC and Terminal Services
That's definitely not the problem I'm getting ... I
just logged in successfully today after failing
yesterday, and I *do* have other logons running on XP.
I had logged as myself last night at home directly on
the XP
I have a similar problem. I have an XP Pro system at
home running VNC Server. When I connect to it from
work, sometimes it works fine, and sometimes I get the
black screen.
This happens when using the vncviewer on Win95, and

Hi,
can someone please help?
I have a a vnc service set up on my server. When i connect to the server
from my laptop with VNC it shows a connection window but in it i
see a black screen, with a dot instead of a cursor. This is not the screen
saver.
when I connect to the service with terminal
on?
A friend told me he could login remotely to xp and put the other
user on the console in a sort of sleep mode.
Maybe the black screen is hardcoded and the behaviour is intended
by default?
