What you are seeing sounds like Combing / Jaggies - Interlacing artifacts.
Did you only check the video in iDVD's Preview?
After you did Save As Disk Image of your iDVD Project, and played it in DVD

You will now be able to drag these files onto the iMovie window and
they will import easily.
In iMovie set up the individual movieclips as chapters then export to
iDVD.
I wouldn't use iTunes in this process at all.

IDVD 5's help says you should have free disk space equal to twice the size
of your project , ie if 4gb project then need 8 gb free disk space.
I have all my project and the iMovie files etc on an external firewire
drive.
Should the 8 gb free space be on my start-up disk or on the external dive

Yes, We've tried a number of different DVD viewers on the PC. Quite

I read that you can combine two iDVD projects in toast to burn to a
DVD-R. This is a way to overcome the 60min or 90min limit (whatever
it is) on iDVD projects.
but does anyone know how to do it?
I am unable to work it out and can't find any toast manuals which can
help
