As a member and as an English teacher I have just noticed that the WAMUG groups
name is Western Australian Macintosh Users Group
you can belong to Western Australia or you can be A West Australian you cannot
be both at the same time when. Granted the longer form 'Western Australian
My computer is named "Sevs G5" and has been for a long time.
Recently, I noticed in Sharing that it is named Sevs G5 (5) and the
accompanying message tells me that other users can connect using Sevs
G5-2.local which proves correct, and Sevs G5 by itself no longer works.
What is going on

On the matter of the Nullabor typo, I believe it is an aboriginal
name and I don't think they were big on Latin.

From memory white. But I think this is getting OT except that I used
a Mac Plus back then, then a Classic, so probably that was stress
relief from sailing. ClarisWorks was such a wonderful program, and
still is. So simple to use and it did so much,
