capsaicin cream or patches are said to help the neuralgia. topical
magnesium "oil" may help. Treating neuralgia or an active viral
outbreak may be two separate endeavors. I would say avoid tricyclic
antidepressants unless you like exploring the dark world of side
effects. A TENS device is similar to zapping and may be of benefit.
Boswellia is a consideration. The nerves somehow get tangled and this
can be a deep and difficult thing. Im interested in the possibility of
home made liposome preparations which might be something for you to
research.
zapping can affect the entire body, I wouldnt discount this, especially
in the acute phases. If lysine and cs seemed to help but it always came
back, I would consider there may be something affecting your immune
system. Root canals and mold come to mind.....

Re: CS>tick - oregano- shingles Thanks for your reply and advice --
its much appreciated. I have actually had shingles off and on for
about ten years or more I think. By shingles I mean the neuralgia
which accompanies it. I have only had one actual outbreak with
lesions and that was mild, but I still get -- what I call 'stabbing'
pains along my ribs mainly---but other places as well. I did try
using CS along with high doses of lysine, but it always came back --
which is why I am trying the oil of oregano now. I use Oreganol and
it says to put two drops under the tongue. It is absolutely foul I
have to say and I find it easier to take in water, but I thought maybe
this would dilute it. I thought it would be difficult to use a zapper
because one never knows where the virus is actually lurking -- I would
have thought. Regards, dee

My mom almost died from shingles. Of course the severity varies.
Older folks that have had a chicken pox vaccination when they were
young may get worse symptoms. The problem is post herpetic neuralgia.
So you will want to research as much and do as much as you can for
this because the neuralgia is almost impossible to cure. Sorry, I
dont have my files on it, but frankly, we werent too successful with
our herbs, plus doctors medications, which were actually horrible.
The nurse told me she wouldnt last one more day, so despite her
bedridden destroyed state, I made the awful decision to take her off
all meds and she started improving from there and lasted another decade.
If you can handle your oregano by mouth than its probably ok for you.
It may be already diluted with oil. I would try zapping which in my
experience is pretty effective against virus's. Look into hulda
Clarks zappers or rife. Cheaper hand held ones may be as effective as
plasma units. Frequency specific may help you more than the simplest
ones. Look also for violet ray machines, usually you can find used
ones on ebay or spring for a new one.
Chaparral could be good, and if you live near where it grows, you can
make your own strong teas and lotions with it.
Do more than you are doing and do it soon. Be decisive and pro
active to avoid years of misery.
