Hi Gaton, No I have not fiddled with the bubbler concept. If you have anything in the brew area that produces CO2 it will change the conductivity reading.
A simple test is to measure the conductiviety of some DW that is in a wide mouth jar every 4 hours that is open to the air and keep a record, and you will find that the conductivity increases as it adsorbs the CO2 in the air.
