I dont' thing there is 2 " of pipe off the muffler.  I think the only thing that MIGHT work is to have a connector section that is smaller and fits up inside the muffler.  At the end of the day it probably needs a new muffler.  Which it being a 1 year only sort of deal is $300+ iirc. On 11/24

Make gussets. weld to muffler and pipe over your welds. (or griind off the welds for the gussets, and reweld with the gussets.) Probably need 4 gussets. If there is at least 2" of pipe in front of the muffler, grind off the welds, and use the tin can hose clamp bandaid. It is cracking fro

Well, vac pump, the timer, timer bushing, and IP are all suspect. When I took off the vac pump, the bolt that is supposed to hold the timer to the IP fell out. It was all chewed up, so I'm guessing the IP is FUBAR. The timer is loose and wobbling, so the bushing at least is busted. I hope t

The fuses for the lights will not be carrying power till you turn on the light switch. Those would be 1,3,7,9,11,13. The lights are supplied power straight from the battery power bus, so the ignition switch will not affect them anyway. That said everything points to fuse 12. Take the thing out

Pull all those fuses that don't have power, repeat check for voltage on both sides of each fuse holder. Check for short to ground wherever there is no power. Report back. If there is no power with the fuses pulled, then you need to check the power feed to the fuse box. -- Max Dillon Charlest
