Mostly in the registry (in Windows).
Exceptions that you add yourself are stored in the file mimeTypes.rdf

Glad that worked agree that the inability to remove a mime type from
the preferences is a regression
RDF in the mimeTypes.rdf file. Renamed the .rdf file to .rdf.old and copied
the one from the Test profile to my normal profile. My duplicate helper
problem is solved, but I'm going to leave the bug filed. There should be an
easy way to edit the helper applications. There was in SM 1.x

Download a file of the type you want in SM2 and it will be added as you
have to choose what to do with it at that point...

Previously, in SM 1.X's browser helper applications list, it was possible to
add, edit and delete entries in the helper applications list. Now in SM 2.0
Windows version, there is only a list and there seems to be no way to add or
delete entries in the list, it is possible to only edit existing
