Moving from Windows 7 to Windows 8.1

Setting up TB on new ssd drive, keeping the old drive as storage
Hi, I've recently installed an ssd on my laptop, keeping the old drive as storage in the modular bay. I set up TB fresh on the ssd, and then synced it with a TB install from another laptop. Everything seemed fine, but now I've noticed that the TB folders on the ssd are somehow linked with the TB folders on my old c:/ drive (now showing as d:/). When I change a folder name on D, the same folder name gets changed on C. I renamed the whole TB folder on D as an experiment, and TB was no longer finding the messages, and I received error messages, when checking my mail. TB lagging?
Hi, I've noticed this ever since I upgraded to version 4 and it's not a constant problem, but often enough that it's really annoying. When I switch from one message to the next, or from one folder to another, or hit delete (or pretty much any command), it can take up to 10 seconds before TB responds. It's gotten to the point where I'm so frustrated with this, that I'm contemplating another email client, and I've been happy with TB for ages (since version 1). No other programs on my pc are affected, this can happen even when cpu usage is at 2%, and I have no other programs open. The filters will update automatically. Okay, I tried this and it seems to work fine until I exit TB. When re-opening, the folders are gone, from account A *and* B and the messages bases are gone from the TB folder in the program files. Am I missing a step somewhere? Email and TB version confusion in messages?
Hi, I just noticed that new messages from me with tbudl@thebat.dutaint.com as the recipient have an old email address and TB version in the mail. As far as I can tell with my limited knowledge, the template for new messages in the properties for this folder looks fine. Replies don't show this problem. Flagged messages not shown?
Hi, when I click the Flagged tab under the message list, TB shows no messages even though there are a number of parked messages in the folder. Am I misunderstanding the meaning of flags? TB using over 90% of system resources
Hi, with the last couple of version I've noticed that TB frequently uses over 90% of system resources, even when just sitting open in the background, not performing any tasks (that I know of). Because of this, my computer gets very slow. TB can go from using just a few percent to over 90 for no reason apparent to me (meaning TB is open, but not being used atm). It's not set to check mail periodically, and back-ups are scheduled for early mornings.
