I was going to avoid the fact Mills was playing in Manchester this
weekend and now I'm finding it tricky.
It is at that aweful Warehouse project though. If I see Mills giving it

Good to hear this. The SF show was on the old 177 Townsend
sound system, the best large club system I've ever heard (with the
piston-driven bass bins), but apparently it's not being well tended
at the new location. I couldn't make it being in between business
trips in Portland. All the same
In fairness I went to see A Guy Called Gerald Tyree Cooper there and
the sounds had improved. Not louder but a lot clearer

with the Mills night simply cos the support looks weak
